The assets additional

An additional acquisition in March, a major version of the Applications Maintenance Through Third Party (AMTTP), management platform, and a fast-paced move towards Client Services management… The Groupe Arcole and its subsidiary Arcole Ingénierie Systems are experiencing a fair amount of activity these days.

Over the last few weeks, the Groupe Arcole purchased " ATOUT DEVELOPPEMENT ", a computer services company incorporating GTI Informatique et DEVPARADISE. These are two very different acquisitions, even though they seem, at several levels, to be quite similar in structure.

Both acquisitions are average in terms of sales figures, but quite significant in terms of what they can offer.

Let's begin with the activities of GTI Informatique. with which we've gained strong market presence in terms of Applications Maintenance Through Third Party (AMTTP), on the SMB/SMI market in AS/400. GTI Informatique has been around for over 20 years with over 300 clients in France, Europe and Africa. Its strength resides with its management products :

  • ArcATEL
  • ArcMECA
  • Etc...
  •  Our strategy is to carry these technologies beyond their current sectoral vision and towards new markets.

From the DEVPARADISE side of things, its activities provide innovating solutions in the INTERNET / INTRANET domain. Its market positions are very specific. Among other things, it offers newbies a Web site design kit called " @rcole-kit " providing non-experts with the tools they need to create their own sites. This acquisition should also prove to be very profitable in terms of new clients; 120 already call upon its skills and expertise. Thanks to the latter, we'll soon be in a capacity to offer a " PACKAGE DEAL ".

In order to do this, we've been looking into a field of activity for the future, that of Management and ERP for SMB / SMI. For now, we're in partnership with a computer services company and may quite possibly enter into agreements with other sector companies. The plans are there, but nothing is definite as yet. What we can say however is that growth will continue as much on an internal basis, through the development of our LARGE COMPANIES as on an external one, through the acquisition of new structures.
